Mike Muscala (ankle) will return from a six-game absence to face the Celtics on Saturday.
Muscala will resume his role as Ersan Ilyasova’s backup and will likely hover around top-150 value all season. He is averaging 0.7 triples, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in only 22.7 minutes but shooting 41.2 percent from the field. He is a career 49.9 percent shooter so that probably won’t remain an issue but his minutes will. Babbitt started the last six games has made 2.8 triples over his last seven, but with Ilyasova and now Muscala both back in the mix, Babbitt’s minutes will take a big hit even if he does play. Isaiah Taylor was poked in the eye during practice and may miss some games. DeAndre Bembry said he is healthy and is making a plan with trainers to get back within the next four games.
UPDATE: Isaiah Taylor has been diagnosed with a retina tear and will miss the next 1-2 weeks.
