Barring a setback, the Heat are still hopeful that Chris Bosh (blood clot) will play next season.
Bosh believed that he could return to the lineup in the playoffs and his camp spent considerable time exploring the idea of him continuing to take the blood thinners at a time of day where they would wear off before game time. Ultimately, the Heat smartly kept him out of the lineup and there was far too much risk involved. There have been conflicting reports regarding Bosh’s future this offseason, but it’s a good sign that the Heat remain hopeful. Expect further updates regarding Bosh’s health all offseason.
