The season is over for Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis, according to Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek who does not expect either of his two stars to play on Wednesday night against the Sixers.
While the season unofficially ended for the Knicks several weeks ago, unfortunately the schedule did not allow them to hang it up until recently. On a positive note, Willy Hernangomez has played decent lately, averaging 14.0 points and 9.3 rebounds over his last four games. Other than that, the Knicks have been a fantasy wasteland. The offseason will be an important time for this organization to recalibrate and set a clear path forward for the future.
