• Wizards coach Scott Brooks revealed that Ian Mahinmi had a minor procedure on his left knee shortly after the season ended.

Brooks was coy about the exact nature of the procedure, but it’s not all that surprising since Mahinmi missed 51 games due to knee troubles. He had surgery to repair a partially torn left meniscus last October and battled tendinitis later in the year. Brooks added that Mahinmi has cut some weight and is optimistic about next season. Mahinmi is an effective player when healthy but won’t play enough for Washington to warrant fantasy consideration.
