Ike Angibogu participated in his first scrimmage yesterday morning, per Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports.
Anigbogu hadn’t done any full-court scrimmaging since before the draft, so it’s an encouraging sign that he was able to get out there and finally work with his teammates in a real basketball setting. A pre-draft knee injury contributed to his slide from potential lottery pick to the middle of the second round, where the Pacers grabbed him at No. 47. While he offers great long-term upside as a rim protector, Anigbogu will not be fantasy relevant in year one.
