Isaiah Thomas (hip) may return faster than his original target of January 1, according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.
Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue said he is not sure if Thomas will beat the timetable, but will make sure he is at full health before returning. “I don’t know,” said Lue. “You know, the staff is doing a great job of just, you know, just trying to get him ready, trying to get him right, so, we don’t want to rush him back if he’s not 100 percent.” Thomas has been increasing is on-court work before games to stationary, one-dribble and two-dribble shooting and Sunday was seen running on the court.
