James Johnson (shoulder) returned to action and scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting with five rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes on Monday against the Wizards.
Johnson is typically good for some money counting stats but he had no threes, steals or blocks in this one. He has emerged as an important piece for the Heat but durability, out-of-control play and the return of other players could all derail his standard league value. At the same time he could easily weather all of those and be a standard league play in 12-team formats the rest of the way. Give him a hard look. Luke Babbitt (hip) was set to return but didn’t make it on the floor, so alas there was no #LBA.
