Johnson lasted eight minutes in his return from ankle bursitis before re-aggravating the injury. He missed about a week last time and we’ll see if the Heat take things slower on the second go around. Waiters’ ankle injury is concerning in that it was an ankle sprain that ended his season last year but there’s been no indication about whether the two ailments are related. He’s not a great fantasy play even at full strength, and his absence will allow the more fantasy-friendly Tyler Johnson to keep starting and Wayne Ellington to keep firing away. Both have been standard league values of late and should be owned everywhere right now. Winslow had lost his starting job before the knee injury and is only a deep league target for now. If the Heat are in shambles health-wise when he returns things might change on that front but we’ll deal with that when the time comes.
