James Johnson said his knee “felt funny” and “kind of buckled” when he went up to shoot a jumper on Wednesday night, but he’s fine and is expected to play on Friday.
Thats great news for his owners as Johnson has been pretty good to start the season. Coach Erik Spoelstra also didn’t seem worried about the issue, stating that his “level of concern isn’t high”. Johnson himself said that he’d just been dealing with tendinitis and that it flared up, so he wanted to do whats best for himself and the team by sitting out. Johnson is putting up top-110 value right now and there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to keep that up.
