Jaylen Brown (knee) played in Sunday’s Summer League loss to the Suns, scoring five points on 5-of-6 free throws to go with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks over 24 minutes.
Brown’s athleticism was on full display and he’s just going to need time on the offensive end. For a pretty loaded Celtics team, he’s not looking at big minutes to start the season and we wouldn’t be dead shocked if he started the season out of the rotation. Chances are that he’ll get a 15-20 minute role by mid-November and only be relevant in deep redraft leagues. Dynasty owners should be concerned about almost every stat category for Brown, as he’s a much better player in reality than in fantasy coming into the league.
