Jaylen Brown left Monday’s loss to the Wizards late due to an ankle injury and did not return, finishing with four points on 3-of-9 shooting to go with nine rebounds in 31 minutes.
We haven’t heard anything about this in the postgame and Brown is coming off a left Achilles injury that cost him a game on Saturday so we’ll see what is what and get back to you guys. Owners shouldn’t panic or adjust rotation projections just yet.
Update: Brown is hobbling pretty well according to reporters in the locker room and Terry Rozier (16 points, four treys, seven boards, two assists, one steal, 26 minutes) might get enough breathing room to have 12-team value for any time that Brown theoretically misses, and Marcus Smart (10 points, two threes, four rebounds, four assists, 28 minutes) fits the same description.
Jaylen Brown hobbling across midcourt. Asks out of the game while reaching towards right leg.
