Hornets guard Jeremy Lamb (groin soreness) will sit out Wednesday’s preseason game against the Celtics.
Lamb should be fine for opening night and is set to open up the season as the starting SG wile Nic Batum (elbow) spends 6-8 weeks recovering. Lamb’s per-36 numbers last year were good for top-50 value. He is a great short term add until Batum is back, but once that happens he will be fighting with rookie Malik Monk and Dwayne Bacon for backup playing time at the two. Snag him at the end of your draft for a nice boost two month boost.
