Jeremy Lamb played a team-high 33 minutes on his way to 21 points (7-for-18 from the field, 6-for-6 from the line), five boards, one assist, two steals and three turnovers in a blowout 76-103 loss to the Hawks.
The Hornets had nothing to play for after being eliminated from playoff contention and had Kemba Walker (left knee soreness) as well as Marco Belinelli (finger) out for this one. With the exception of Brian Roberts (28 minutes), no starter saw more than 22 minutes. Steve Clifford’s crew will regroup in the off-season after a disappointing campaign, finishing fourth in the Southeast Division.
