Jeremy Lin (patellar tendon rupture) will miss the rest of the season.
This is horrible news for Lin, who only played in 36 games last season due to a hamstring injury he couldn’t seem get rid of. Before he left he was playing well, putting up 18 points and four assists on five of twelve shooting while knocking down all seven of his free throw attempts. With Lin sidelined this season, expect D’Angelo Russell to get all the work he can handle. His usage rate will likely be through the roof as he’ll see more minutes at point guard now. Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie are likely to see a big bump in playing time and Isaiah Whitehead will likely work his way back into the rotation.
