Jimmy Butler indicated on Saturday that offseason surgery on his troublesome knee may not be needed.
Just last week it appeared that Butler was scheduled for offseason exploratory surgery on his knee. This situation seems a bit messy to say the least. Butler has not been the same player since he returned from his injury on March 14th. Nonetheless, the Bulls are in the thick of it in the Eastern Conference playoff race and as long as they are alive it seems like Butler will continue to play. He is a shutdown candidate though if the Bulls continue their slide, so keep a close eye on players like Mike Dunleavy, Aaron Brooks and even E’Twaun Moore as we enter the final weeks of the fantasy playoffs.
