• New Magic backup shooting guard Jodie Meeks said that his Jones (foot) fracture has fully healed.

We hope that’s the case because ever since cashing in with Detroit he has been an injured mess.  Fantasy owners can safely watch this action from a distance and if he starts making any noise we’ll let you know.

Fantasy News

  • Bradley Beal
    SG, Washington Wizards

Bradley Beal had 29 points, one rebound, six assists, and one steal on Monday against the Pistons.

He made just 2-of-7 from behind the arc, but otherwise this was a solid game for Beal. The only real blemish was the five turnovers. The win broke a five-game losing streak for the Wizards.

  • Svi Mykhailiuk
    SF, Detroit Pistons

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk's shot abandoned him on Monday and he finished the game with 10 points and 2 triples on 4-of-13 shooting.

The popular waiver wire add was due for a bad game after going over 20 points in each of his last two games. The good news is that he still made it to the mid-20s in minutes despite the off night and there aren't many high-efficiency three-point specialists. He's a hold while Kennard is out, particularly if your team needs three-point shooting.

  • Ian Mahinmi
    C, Washington Wizards

Ian Mahinmi ended Monday's game against the Pistons with 21 points, seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, and three blocks in 23 minutes of action.

Mahinmi shot 9-of-10 from the field as well. It was easily his best game since December 30 when he scored 25 points against the Heat. Mahinmi is hardly a reliable fantasy player, but he's still capable of a big game every now and then even with Thomas Bryant in the fold.

  • Tony Snell
    SG, Detroit Pistons

Tony Snell's shot fell on Monday to the tune of 16 points and four threes.

The do-nothing all-star shot an efficient 56% from the field in 29 minutes. Coach Dwayne Casey refuses to commit to player development and his players refuse to win basketball games, so this team is currently in basketball purgatory at the organizational level. Don't pay too much attention to this line, as Snell is just as likely to come back and post a 0-0-0-0-0 line in the next one.

  • Andre Drummond
    C, Detroit Pistons

Andre Drummond posted 18 points (7-of-11 shooting), 16 rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

There's a misconception that Drummond's heart isn't in it as trade rumors continue to swirl, but you wouldn't know it from looking at his recent statlines. He's as solid a top-20 fantasy option as there is. Don't get bogged down in hypotheticals when assessing the value of your stud big man. Enjoy the ride with the durable Drummond and we can reassess his value if and when a trade involving him happens.

  • Derrick Rose
    PG, Detroit Pistons

Derrick Rose scored 21 points (8-of-21 shooting) with four rebounds and two steals.

You can really ask for much more out of Rose, who's been a top-85 asset all season as the unexpected last man standing in the Detroit backcourt. Rose, or "Old Kendrick Nunn" as we like to call him, will continue to pour in points with nary a stat elsewhere, but tonight's modest peripherals were a nice touch. He's fine to roster, but rest-of-season value may not be guaranteed. Look to sell.

  • Adam Mokoka
    G, Chicago Bulls

Adam Mokoka will be active for the Bulls on Monday against the Bucks.

Mokoka has averaged 9.5 points and 5.7 points for the Windy City Bulls of the G League. He's just a depth player for now.

  • JJ Redick
    SG, New Orleans Pelicans

J.J. Redick (left hamstring) will play on Monday.

Redick was already considered probable, so this is not surprising. He is shooting a stratospheric 46.5 percent from long range and has averaged 15.8 points per contest. That includes 3.3 made threes per game.

  • Jahlil Okafor
    C, New Orleans Pelicans

Jahlil Okafor (lower back soreness) will not play on Monday.

Derrick Favors has also been ruled out, making Jaxson Hayes a valuable short-term play. Okafor has now missed a week of action, so this seems to be a nagging issue for him.

  • Derrick Favors
    PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Derrick Favors (lower back soreness) will not play on Monday.

Favors is coming off two strong games but is unable to play. Jaxson Hayes will fill in for the big man. He's a solid play in daily leagues considering that Jahlil Okafor is also out.
