Joel Embiid shook off a first half ankle injury on Wednesday to score 21 points with 14 boards against the Knicks.
He landed awkwardly on his left ankle and limped off the floor in the second quarter, but started the second half and played his usual allotment of minutes. Embiid added one assist, one three, one steal and one block to round out his line, as he continues to put up eye popping numbers when he plays. He’s currently returning fifth round value on the season, and could easily improve on his current production if his minutes restriction is eventually lifted.
