Joel Embiid (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday’s game vs. the Clippers and will not travel for Wednesday’s game vs. the Bucks.
Embiid wasn’t able to practice Monday and the Sixers are calling it a left knee contusion. He wasn’t going to travel with the team Wednesday anyways considering it would’ve been a back-to-back game. The Process is considered day-to-day and we’ll likely see Jahlil Okafor (knee) in the starting lineup while Nerlens Noel backs him up. The Sixers could be playing it extra safe so we’ll be keeping a close eye on this situation. His next chance to play will be Friday against the Rockets.
Update: Embiid will miss both games against Clippers and Bucks on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
