The Sixers have yet to clear Joel Embiid for 5-on-5 play but the big man expects to be ready to hit the court by the time training camp rolls around.
Foot and knee injuries have limited Embiid to just 31 games through his first three years in the league, but he’s been dynamite when healthy. He’s been doing non-contact work but don’t be surprised if Philly takes it slow. On a per game basis, Embiid was an early round talent for fantasy purposes; the issue is whether or not he’ll get enough games to carry you through a full season. He’s one of the riskier picks in recent memory.
