John Wall flirted with a triple-double on Wednesday against the Celtics, scoring nine points with 10 assists and seven boards.
It was an odd night for Wall. His shot simply wasn’t falling, and he shot just 4-of-21 from the floor, but he made smart passes and ran the offense well. Wall chipped in three steals and one block, so owners can’t complain too much about the low scoring output.
Update: John Wall will have X-rays on his “badly swollen” left wrist after Wednesday’s game vs. the Celtics. This injury was apparently bothering Wall before tonight’s game, and could explain his poor shooting performance tonight. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
Update #2: X-rays came back negative on his wrist and pinkie, but an MRI could be coming tomorrow.
