John Wall sat out of the live portions of Tuesday’s practice as he recovers from dual knee surgeries.
Wall is probably a little bit better than questionable for the start of the season and there is no reason to get him out there early in training camp and/or the preseason. In fact, each of these days off helps his ADP a little bit more, so we’re all for it. He’s worth a look in the second round of drafts and is about a half-round more valuable in 8-cat leagues rather than 9-cat formats.
Update: Wall said he felt good after participating in what Scott Brooks estimated was about 70 percent of practice. Kelly Oubre added that he was dunking during some drills and this sounds like garden variety rest for a marquee player coming off of injury.
