Rookie Jonathan Isaac continues to be bothered by discomfort in his left foot and didn’t practice on Monday.
Injuries have prevented the rookie from playing in 48 of the Magic’s 73 games this season. Coach Frank Vogel said Isaac still feels some pain in the top of his foot which has now forced him to miss the last couple games. He has shown promise this season when he’s played, especially on the defensive end, but the problem is he hasn’t played enough, primarily because of a right ankle injury he suffered in mid-November. Jonathon Simmons has also missed three straight games due to a right wrist contusion, so Aaron Gordon and Mario Hezonja should be pretty busy for a Magic team that has a three-game week.
