Jonathon Simmons had a strong game on both sides of the floor on Tuesday, posting 12 points (5-for-14 from the field), two boards, two assists and three steals in 31 minutes.
Simmons played much of the fourth and the overtime period due to Kawhi Leonard (ankle) watching from the sidelines in the late parts of the game. The second-year player brought high energy off the bench, even drawing an offensive foul from James Harden in the last possessions of the fourth quarter. The Spurs will need him to step up if Kawhi is looking at missing time.
