Jose Calderon left Saturday’s game during the second quarter due to an ankle injury and did not return.
Any serious time off would force the Knicks to play Langston Galloway or Jerian Grant significant minutes and it’s our guess that they’d give Galloway the lion’s share between the two. Galloway needs more than 30 mpg to be a late-round guy when you iron out the peaks and valleys, and the same can be said for Grant and maybe to an even larger extent. Calderon said that he did not need X-rays and that he would try to test it before Sunday’s game against the Kings, so this isn’t the long-term issue that should push owners to an add of the younger players.
