• Kawhi Leonard will reportedly miss the entire 2017 preseason as he is continuing a rehabilitation program for right quadriceps tendinopathy.

A more accurate description of this type of injury can be seen here. It says it may take two to four weeks for pain and inflammation to go down but it is not enough to simply be pain free. A return to “Full Fitness” may take anywhere from two to six months. He missed one game in February with a quad contusion and had an issue in 2012-13 with quad tendinitis but it is not clear if this is related. There is a possibility this may carry over into the regular season. Stay tuned for further updates.
