Kenneth Faried (back) is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Hornets.
We’re not sure how the Faried slowdown/shutdown is going to manifest itself and it’s so obscure at this point we also wouldn’t be surprised if he somehow managed the injury to some sort of redeeming effect. But the situation does lend itself to playing time for both Joffrey Lauvergne and Jusuf Nurkic, who were both productive and played to a draw from a fantasy perspective.
Lauvergne has a slight edge in terms of viability because he is less hurt and also has less friction with Michael Malone, but Nurkic is right there and also has some better potency from a fantasy perspective. Both are worth a look and especially with the Nuggets’ favorable schedule. Darrell Arthur was bad on Thursday but we’ve liked him as a must-own guy for a bit now.
