In discussing Stephen Curry’s health Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr said: “He looks strong…It was important for him to get rest.”
It’s a notable, if vague, comment to make before the season starts. Given Curry’s absences in the post season, and with the Warriors not set to challenge for 73 wins again, it wouldn’t be a shock if there are more off nights for Curry in 2016-17 than last year. This quote is worth filling away in the back of your memory, but shouldn’t move Curry on your draft board.
