Talking to NBCSports.com about his recovery from a fractured left hand, Kevin Love said that he is about two weeks out from getting his movable cast off for good and then, from there, about a few weeks after that before he gets back.
No major update here as this still puts him in the six to eight weeks timetable that he was given initially. Love is currently limited to cardio work but he’s been able to do some lifting with bands so that when the cast does come off his return to the court is faster. Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance will continue to get the majority of minutes for the foreseeable future while it remains to be seen how their value gets affected by Love’s return to the lineup.
