Kevin Love left Tuesday’s game against the Pistons in the first quarter to have his left (non-shooting) hand checked out by trainers.
We don’t have any other details but surely they’ll be forthcoming. Stay tuned.
Update: Love is getting X-rays and this might have a chance at being serious. Jae Crowder would see a boost and minutes and would be worth a look in standard leagues, but he’s not a must-add player by any stretch.
Update II: Love is likely out for 6-8 weeks and Crowder should be owned in 12-team formats, though the trade deadline could change that calculus so be careful who you drop.
Update III: Crowder started the second half and that might be your starting power forward, going forward.

The X-ray on Kevin Love's left hand revealed a non-displaced fracture in his left hand fifth metacarpal. Love will not return to play tonight. His status will be updated after additional examination and consultation tomorrow in Cleveland, per the Cavs.
