Kevon Looney only played 10 minutes in Thursday's opener, with the Warriors pulling him from the game after he tweaked his left hamstring.
Looney was sidelined by a left hamstring strain throughout preseason but the team is calling tonight's removal precautionary. The big man is looking at a great opportunity to assert himself as a 24-28 mpg player, especially while Willie Cauley-Stein is out, and that workload would definitely put him in the top-120 neighborhood. If he continues to be limited, however, Looney may struggle to hold more than rebounding appeal.
