Kristaps Porzingis is scheduled to meet with doctors Monday morning to undergo testing regarding his injured hip, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.
Porzingis exited Sunday’s preseason matchup versus the Knicks after experiencing pain discomfort in his left hip. The injury was initially thought of to be minor, but Porzingis believes it may be linked to another ailment. “I believe there is tightness somewhere else, that’s why (my hip) got a little sore,” said Porzingis. The team would be wise to rest up their superstar with the start of the season right around the corner. Despite the nagging minor injuries, Porzingis should still be viewed as an early-round pick in all formats.
