Kristaps Porzingis (achilles) will not play on Sunday vs. the Raptors.
Porzingis will miss his second consecutive game due to the achilles soreness. Head coach Jeff Hornacek called him doubtful for Monday vs Atlanta but said Porzingis believes he’ll be ready. With Porzingis being ruled out, Lance Thomas may get the start at small forward while Carmelo Anthony could move to the power forward spot if the Knicks roll the same lineup from Thursday. Kyle O’Quinn is a candidate to see more minutes off the bench although he does not need much time to produce. But when Porzingis was out against the Bulls the bench player to see the extra minutes was Mindaugas Kuzminskas (30 minutes).
