Kristaps Porzingis (ankle, illness) will not play on Sunday against the Magic.
Porzingis isn’t a lizard after all. His minutes will be filled by Willy Hernangomez and Kyle O’Quinn, while Joakim Noah might even get some small run. Michael Beasley will move into the starting lineup and will probably produce a bit more than he normally does.
Update: Kristaps Porzingis will not travel with the Knicks to Indiana, meaning he will not play against the Pacers.
Jeff Hornacek said that Kristaps Porzingis will not travel to Indiana. Tim Hardaway Jr. is having soreness in his shin and he underwent tests. Hornacek said Hardaway Jr.’s current ailment is unrelated to the plantar fasciitis he dealt with last month.
