Kristaps Porzingis played despite a minor foot injury in Wednesday’s overtime win over the Jazz, scoring 16 points on 4-of-9 shooting (2-of-5 3PTs, 6-of-6 FTs) with five rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 29 minutes.
You never know what you’re going to get with Porzingis but from a fantasy perspective it’s almost always going to be awesome. An early round play despite hitting just 43.2 percent of his shots and just 28.2 mpg on the year, he’s making a case for waiver wire pickup of the year and/or late-round stud. Because we have to we’ll point out that he fouled Gordon Hayward on a 3-point attempt to send the game to overtime, after the Butler grad buried all three freebies.
