Kristaps Porzingis hit just 1-of-11 shots as he struggled with his illness during Wednesday’s return to action, finishing with two points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and a block over 26 minutes.
The Warriors had a little bit to do with his stinker and he wasn’t the only one to get knocked around. Robin Lopez managed just two points, four rebounds and one steal, and Carmelo Anthony scored just 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting with six rebounds, six assists and three treys in the 36-point loss. We’ve been telling you guys to be patient on Porzingis and the leash is getting very, very short. If he doesn’t turn it around next game we’ll probably remove the must-hold rating. We’re hoping for a 10-game run of glory starting next week.
