Kyle Kuzma admitted that his quad is still sore and that the team will need to see how he feels before Friday’s game before making any decisions about his status.
Kuzma is shaping up as a true game-time decision, so you’ll need to weigh those risks when setting your lineups this evening. Larry Nance Jr. would probably jump into the starting five if Kuzma sat while Julius Randle would see more minutes off the bench. It’s not looking like a long-term absence for Kuzma, thankfully, so owners don’t necessarily need to make larger arrangements right now. The fact that he was able to play through some discomfort on Wednesday bodes well for his chances of suiting up but the Lakers may take the safe route here.
