• Kyle Lowry (rest) and Norman Powell (ankle) will not play in Tuesday’s game against the Clippers according to the Toronto Raptors.

The rest for Lowry comes as no surprise as the Raptors will likely use their veteran point guard sparingly in the preseason. Lowry will be an early round target for owners, but those who draft him should be cognizant of his tendency to wear down and miss games due to injury late in recent seasons. Powell is poised to see an increased role this season and may crack the starting lineup for the Raptors, so hopefully his absence tonight is only precautionary. He is a must watch name for those in deeper leagues, and could make a splash as a streamer or back-end standard league asset.
