Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Clippers guard Landry Shamet will undergo an MRI on his sprained left ankle on Tuesday morning in order to determine the severity of his injury.
Shamet left the game on Monday after suffering the non-contact injury. It didn’t look good and it’s safe to assume that he will miss some time, so managers should prepare accordingly. The Clippers expect to get Paul George back as soon as this week and his return will help cover for Shamet’s potential loss. In the meantime, Rodney McGruger, Terrence Mann and Jerome Robinson will get the extra minutes but no one deserves serious consideration except in deeper leagues.
