LeBron James (ankle) will sit out Friday’s preseason game against the Magic.
James tweaked his ankle again during Tuesday’s game against the Bulls and there is no reason to risk re-injury in the preseason. The former MVP should be ready to go for the season opener. the 32-year-old is dropping out of the first round in redraft leagues which makes him a steal in the second round, especially in 8-cat leagues. Turnovers and subpar free throw percentage are the only ways he can hurt you, but he should see usage increases with Kyrie Irving gone making up for those lackluster stats.
