• The Lakers have ruled out the trio of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and P.J. Dozier for tonight’s Summer League title game.

Ball is dealing with a calf strain, and he showed more than enough in Vegas to warrant a rest day. He’ll bring some terrific highlight clips into camp with him and is looking at a big role as a rookie, more thank likely earning the starting point guard job. Hart and Dozier both have ankle injuries are unlikely to be in the rotation for meaningful minutes, but there’s still no need for them to push through this one. The Lakers will try to take home the championship with something of a skeleton crew tonight against the Blazers.
