Lou Williams left Tuesday’s game with a moderate hamstring strain and did not return, and he has already been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
The fact he’s not traveling to Denver after a moderate hamstring strain is a pretty good tell that the Lakers are prepared to go young. Williams has been a top-100 guy for most of the year but he’s starting to slide more toward the bottom of the top-150 lately. It’s hard to find top-100 value on the wire so owners may want to simply bench him, but if you’re staring at a solid low-to-mid level free agent don’t be afraid to pull the trigger.
