Luol Deng (wrist) will be a game-time decision to play in Game 6 against the Raptors on Friday.
The basketball gods are trying to make the matchup between the Heat and Raptors as even as possible. First, both Hassan Whiteside and Jonas Valanciunas leave Game 3 with leg injuries, and then we have DeMarre Carroll and Luol Deng leave Game 5 with wrist injuries. Luol Deng’s defense has been essential to holding down DeMar DeRozan (31.4% with Deng guarding him, 42.6% with others) and they will need him to play big minutes if they stand any chance of pushing the series to a Game 7 on Sunday.
Spoelstra said Luol Deng was able to go through shootaround, but he's still questionable for tonight. Calls it "deep bruise" on wrist.
