Malcolm Brogdon (strep throat) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game versus the 76ers.
Brogdon's suffered injuries to his hand, hamstring and lower back, so of course he comes down with a case of strep throat as soon as he's nearing a return from back spasms. If anything, maybe this allows his bout with muscle spasms to subside, but take this as a reminder that Brogdon has battled injuries throughout his career. His hot start to the season is a distant memory and Victor Oladipo (knee) is nearing a return, which will curtail Brogdon's upside significantly in due time. That said, the Pacers are angling for the playoffs and their fortunes rest on Brogdon's brittle shoulders, so we'd expect him to be counted on to have a strong second half of the season. As soon as he turns it on, however, you'd have to think about selling high given his track record with injuries. Expect Aaron Holiday to hog minutes at PG in the mean time.
