Nuggets shooting guard Malik Beasley had preventive surgery on his right leg to address a tibia stress fracture he suffered midway through his freshman year at Florida State.
Our only concern with this at this point is that Beasley apparently works so hard that he will be a perennial threat to overtrain and or push too hard through injuries. We liken his efficient offensive game to a young Kawhi Leonard but without the experience in the post, and defensively he has the motor and instincts to make things happen but he’ll most definitely need to bulk up. He lands in a crowded situation in Denver so redraft owners in most formats can just wait-and-see how things go. Active Dynasty owners in deep formats can definitely take a flier on him, however.
