Malik Monk (toe) returned to a full practice on Sunday and is expected to play on Monday.
Monk sat out the second half of Friday's game and has been dealing with a toe injury since early October, but the Hornets don't believe it's a serious injury. With Nic Batum already ruled out, Monk will have a chance at extra minutes and is looking to carve out a real rotation role for the first time in his young career. Consider him a deep-league 3-point specialist to start.
