Marcus Morris (knee) returned to action in Monday’s loss to the Wizards, logging 15 minutes off the bench with two points on 1-of-7 shooting, four rebounds and one assist.
Morris was on a 20-minute limit and his fantasy prospects aren’t great with Daniel Theis playing well lately. Theis scored 12 points on 4of-6 shooting with one triple, four rebounds and one block in 18 minutes. The better asset is Theis right now, though owners should avoid both of these guys outside of pretty deep leagues right now.
Update: Morris is unlikely to play on Wednesday and is going to get a PRP injection and that upgrades the outlook of Theis a bit. If you want to give him a look as a flier pickup in 14-16 team leagues the hope would be that he can prove himself enough to get 25 mpg in the long-term.
Marcus Morris said as of now, he’s not likely to be in the lineup for the #Hornets game on Wednesday. Also said there’s a chance he will get another prp injection sometime this week.
