Sixers rookie Markelle Fultz had fluid drained from his right shoulder and is planning a visit to a specialist soon according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Fultz’ agent Raymond Brothers had this to say regarding the situation: “He literally cannot raise up his arms to shoot the basketball. He decided to try to fight through the pain to help the team. He has a great attitude. We are committed to finding a solution to get Markelle back to 100 percent.” Nothing has been decided as of yet whether Fultz will miss any time, so you’ll have to stay tuned there. The news obviously isn’t good at all, and it explains his horrific free throw stroke. Hold tight on him for now, but it’s a situation worth keeping a close eye on so be ready to pull the trigger on a move.
