Markieff Morris (ankle) returned to action in Tuesday’s loss, finishing with 16 points (6-for-11 from the field, 3-for-3 from the line), six boards, three assists, two steals, one block and one triple.
Kieff had 10 points in the first quarter, but also picked up two quick fouls, causing him to deal with foul trouble all game. Still, he hit a lot of big shots in the fourth quarter and provided huge help on both ends against Brad Stevens’ small lineups. There were a few exchanges between Morris and Isaiah Thomas in this one, which has only sparked a healthy rivalry between the two squads.
