Markieff Morris said that he still hasn’t practiced since picking up his left ankle injury, and that it is still bothering him.
“I don’t shoot at all. I just go back to treatment every day,” Morris said. You couldn’t tell that this injury was still bothering him by the way he played in Game 6, going for 16 points with 11 rebounds in 39 minutes. This series is headed to a Game 7 and there’s no way that Morris will be sitting out this game despite it being the worst injury of his career. “It’s not swollen as much but the pain is still there. It’s the worst injury I’ve ever had,” Morris said. “I’m not worried about my ankle right now. I’m worried about winning.”
