The Nuggets will be without Mason Plumlee (calf strain) on Saturday, and he’s expected to return sometime after the All-Star break per BSNDenver’s Harrison Wind.
Plumlee’s absence will open up more minutes for Trey Lyles, who is in the midst of a breakout campaign. The Nuggets value Plumlee’s contributions but he presents a bit of an odd fit alongside their other frontcourt mainstays, so it should be a nice short-term boost for some of their lineups. Kenneth Faried could get back into the rotation depending on the matchups but isn’t someone worth monitoring.
